My editing adventure started with my interest in films. I love experiencing stories through perspective of characters I identify with as well as characters that are different from me in every way. Power of cinema is the ability to throw viewer into an imaginary world and make them care for the people on the screen. Emotions that film can cause is an aspect that I pay most attention to.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

With that in mind, in 2020 I chose to study in the field of Film and Multimedia with specialization in Film editing at Warsaw Film School where I finished my Bachelor\u2019s degree. I have edited countless school\u2019s exercises and short films. Education granted me a deeper understanding of the technique required for film editing. I learned how cuts dictate rhythm, emotions and how they can completely change scene\u2019s tone.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

During my studies, I already started to broaden my skills in the direction of editing videos for social media \u2013 Youtube reviews, music videos and all kinds of short form content. However, I realized I needed to learn more about eye catching effects and animations, in short \u2013 Motion Graphics. Because of that, in 2025 I completed After Effects course at Akademia Fotografii (Academy of Photography) in Warsaw. That course allowed me to not only understand the program itself but most of all \u2013 to elevate the visual side of my projects.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Currently I dedicate most of my time to editing videos intended for social media but I also offer film editing \u2013 especially when it comes to student etudes and short films. Thanks to that I\u2019m able to combine my passion for cinema, scene creation, affecting viewer\u2019s emotions with my second intrest \u2013 creating striking, dashy videos that make it impossible to look away. In the end, both of these paths overlap \u2013 to each one\u2019s benefit.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I approach each editing project in an individual way, no matter if it\u2019s a commercial or a film production. I pay attention to things like keeping viewer\u2019s attention, for example - starting the video with a hook. In case of cinematic short films \u2013 I focus on the message, emotions and rhythm of the scene, using my film school experience. Each video\/film has different expectations and needs attached, that\u2019s why the first thing I do is consider client\u2019s point of view.<\/p>\n

Aside from paying attention to each cut, I also make sure sound mixing and color grading elevates the project even more. During export I consider resolution, codec and format. Depending on quality of the footage delivered by the client and on what platform finish product will be uploaded on, I adjust video\/audio bitrate as well as aspect ratio. I offer fast and easy communication in regards to revisions. Programs I use for editing are as follows: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Da Vinci Resolve.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
